Walker's Week #4

Walker's email doesn't really make sense without the questions we sent to him, so everything that we wrote is in orange italics.

 

I heard you are scheduled to leave the MTC on the 25th of April, does that mean that your visa has come in or are they just planing on it getting there on time?

so some quick answers so the 25th is just an estimated time they really don't know so far i haven't got my travel plans or my visa i really hope i get it in time though.

 

Does your companion have a name or home town and do you get along okay? 

mi companero does have a name and a home town. his name is elder kurta, and he lives in emmett, idaho. we get along great i think not sure if he feels the same way.

 

Hows the language doing?

the language is great i can almost say a prayer in spanish

 

Have you been one of the greeters of the new missionaries yet? 

nope i haven't been a greeter yet but i'm hopeing to be one of them this week and next.

 

How many are there in your district and are their any sisters? 

so my district has been kind of messed up lately. It started out with 8. It was me and elder kurta, elder call and elder johnson, elder ahlborn and elder everell, and hermana washburn and hermana neeley. then Elder call decided he was to good for us so he went to an intermidiate class. i feel bad for him its a bunch of nerds. then i got but in a three some with his companero elder johnson. then 2 days later elder everell went home. so i was out of a three some and elder johnson and elder alburn are companions. that lasted for like two weeks then our hermanas went to guatamala mtc. at that point they didn't like just having for of us in a district so they destroyed are district and now we are in another district and there are 9 in there as of right now and no girls

 

Is your whole district going to Costa Rica?

as of right now with the new district i'm in there are 5 going to costa rica, 3 going to honduras, and 1 going to santiago chile west.

 

Are the Spanish Scriptures they gave you nice?

the spanish scriptures they gave us are ok. you should have courtney go look at some and then when she gets here have her decide which are better and have them shipped to us or something i don't know but you guys are smart.

 

Are you ready to eat rice and beans for two years? ha ha.

ok so i really had nothing to write cause i didn't get the packages tell wednesday and we aren't supposed to write letters throughout the week. and right now i need all the help i can get so i've actually been folowing the rules it sucks. but it helps they are awesome thanks you guys

 

so i would really like if you guys would send me some pictures of me car and maybe familia manly car though so i am out of time i'll write you an awesome letter with story in it.

Walker week #3

so hows it going i don't really know what to say (coma) i guess i've been here for a while every week is the same(period) i guess um the food is good i have breakfast at 700 lunch at 11:30 dinner at 4:30 and all the food that i stole from the cafateria at 9 its been working ok(period) The only problem is(coma) is that the only food that i can put in my pockets from cafateria is bananas and chips (period)

Hay I got the one full of ramen, its pretty awesome not going to lie, thanks so did you put the sd thing in it. So I had hot dogs today, they were awesome comparatively um i got a package today it was awesome first one and full of ramen, yep you guys are cool. I have to go, love you by

Walker's Week #2

first yes i can send pictures home but i left my camera in my room i think i am just going to send home my card i can buy them here for like for bucks so his camaro is red with black stripes so this week has gone alot faster then last i starting to get used to food but last night i had some way bad stomach cramps so i need more shirts and regular as in not black socks i can buy shirts here for like 20 bucks a piece so if you could send me some for cheaper i would really appreciate it just kind of right me through dear elder what you plans are so a typical day here is i wake up at 6:30 shower get dressed. go eat breakfast at 7 then i'm in a classroom from 7:30 tell 11:30. Then in class again from 12:15 till 4:30 witch is dinner who eats dinner at 4:30 its killing me. so after dinner i have class again from 5:15 till 9:30. go back to my room and eat all the food that i've stole from the lunch room through out the day which is about all that i can fit in my pockets. so how's the house coming have you guys started working on it again oh yeah i have gym every day for an hour its like the highlight of my day even though i complety and totally suck at volleyball and even more at basketball. um i get mail every day. and really like to get it so if you could just write me using dear elder even if its just a little today is p day so we are going to try to set up a slack line jajaja which is just like a tight rope.

Walker's First Week in the MTC

hola so i guess i'm supposed to incorage you to use that dear elder thing and not email me at least while i'm in the mtc. so my pday is on tuesday and i'll usually get on at about 8:30 so i got here my companion owns a 68 camaro yep kind of jealos but oh well mine will be cooler so the food here is ok but it gives me way bad gas yep hey can you send me a package with food i'll send you a letter with my new address on it oh i need q tips and some thing else oh i had to get another tetnus shot so if you see like 40 bucks come out of my bank account thats why um I'm picking up on this spanish launguage like crazy its not at all like i thought so um i don't really have anything to say mtc sucks they expect me to study for 10 hours a day i think they do it hoping that i will get in at least 3 hours or something i don't know but the rest of the time i just kind of sleep in my classroom so food would be good so i guess all of my district (classmates) took like three years of spanish in high school so there just kind of talking it to each other but its pretty easy i thought i t would be way hard so i don't have anything else to write and my new address is in my room and i'm doing laundry woot woot i really hope this is the right email address and i'm not emailing this to some random person so write back to me if you get this on dear elder its almost instant and i also like getting mail don't really have anything to do its rather boring i have a microwave so thats cool haven't used it yet oh there are vending machines to but they are just there to rip you of its like 2 bucks for a thing of skittles so i'm out of time so i'll talk to ya later see ya
