Hey, I really loved the talks that you sent me. You guys are so awesome.
So this week was pretty awesome. We had a lot of lessons with members present and it was really cool to see the change in the atmosphere of our lessons. We are going to have an activity this sunday for the ward
about Missionary Work, we are planning and doing the whole thing! We also have a baptism this Saturday, which is going to be a little bit difficult because usually baptisms here in Chile are on Sunday right after church so that all of the people are obligated to stay. But this baptism is Saturday. Tell you what, after this I will totally be ready for a calling on the activity commitee, these things are hard work!
So a few super funny things that happened this week. Yesterday we had almuerzo with one of the older ladies in the ward, I think she is losing it a little, but she totally gave me a hamburger without any meat. But I didn´t realize it until halfway through the sandwich. Then she forgot to put the topping on our dessert. It was just kind of funny.
Other funny thing, so over a month ago we got a box of Libros de Mormón from the office and we have been using them to give to investigators and stuff since we got them. Well the other day a member asked if we had a book of mormon that she could give to one of her friends and I immediately gave her the one in my hands. She asked what chapters would be good for her to give him to read so we started looking through the book. Guess what! 15 chapters of Alma were where 3 Nefi and 4 Nefi should have been! We went home and looked and our stash of Books of Mormon and the whole box that we recieved was like that. They were all out of order and missing parts too. But we´ve been giving them away for about a month! Well, I guess maybe one of our investigators needed to read those chapters of Alma twice.
So I totally lost my voice a few days ago, its been a little rough because my companion still has trouble understanding the people. But my companion has been pretty awesome about it, and she has been really
stepping up and filling in the gaps.
We had a really awesome week, even though there was a ton of rain. We found some super awesome investigators that we are definitely going to see some progress with.
Well, love you all! Talk to you later!
